Fashionista: Women’s Issues

Published by lisaliberty

The idea behind “Fashionista” being a women’s issue is to combat the misconception that substance does not come with style, and style does not come with being a mother. All of that under one umbrella is a problem because some of the smartest ladies have style and are very put together in the way they look. A good example is my friend Claire, who is a very successful and talented business woman. She can still put together a killer outfit, and guess what? Half of it she found at a thrift store!

And as for mother’s being kicked out of the stylish category? That’s a shame, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with having fun with your appearance even after you’ve got a little one in your life. There is also nothing wrong with not really giving a rat’s ass about fashion, but it isn’t fair to judge the women who do have interest in it. This blog is for all the women who love fashion, different relationships, and being fun and sexy. That’s it.
