Breastfeeding with a dress on.
Today I wore a short cowl neck sleeveless dress (ala American Apparel) to celebrate Parsons recent runway exhibition. I slapped on a light brown leather belt with gold and pearlized detailing and sparkly nude colored tights — pretty much my favorite outfit of recent times. Needless to say, I forgot that it is not very condusive to breastfeeding. I had to lift my entire dress up to breastfeed during dinner, and even breastfed in the public restroom a couple of times despite my distaste for having to resort to banishing myself from the rest of society because I have to feed my baby naturally. However, I will give in when in order to breastfeed, my butt will be in plain view!
What is condusive to breastfeeding? Again, American Apparel’s Deep V-Necks, and they are perfect for the summer, too. Just pop out the boob and nobody will notice. They are also super cute and look great oversized with some high waist skinny leg pants. Pretty much anything that will be easy to untuck or easy to pull down the neckline without ruining the elasticity.
